I was diagnosed with low adrenal function due to chronic stress by a physician. Diagnostics after more than 3 years of chronic fatigue found not only an underlying thyroid condition but also extremely low DHEA and cortisol especially early in the day. I get that it’s not a mainstream thing in medicine but that doesn’t mean there is not some truth to the adrenal/hormone imbalance story and we’re just not there yet in terms of the science.
