Parents are the reason kids don't know about boundaries and are vulnerable to predators. I've been listening to talks by people who were brought into the sex trade and it's basically the same. Being groomed to accept abuse requires that the person/child doesn't understand healthy boundaries. Many parents don't understand them either: you have to kiss Aunt Marge, hug your grandfather, or "uncle" Jim, even if you don't want to.
